College Band
The Northern Beaches Secondary College Band is a concert band which now has forty-five members from all five campuses. Rehearsals are held on Mondays at Mackellar Campus from 4.00 to 5.30pm. The band performs locally, attends band workshops and participates in competitions and tours.
The Northern Beaches Secondary College Band recently received a Silver Award at the 2007 School Band Festival (Section C).
In 2008 the band toured based in Ballina/Lennox Heads.
Primary workshops will be held in Term 4 for Year 6 students from local Primary Schools and auditions for the band will be held in February 2010.
