Transport between Campuses

A shared senior curriculum is an innovative part of the Northern Beaches Secondary College, allowing students in Years 11 and 12 to study subjects across the five campuses of the College, giving them a greater range of subject choices.

The shared senior curriculum relies on the College bus which transports students between campuses.

In 2006 a four-year sponsorship agreement was signed between the Manly Warringah Credit Union and the College in support of the College bus. The new sponsorship agreement provided a wonderful benefit to the 250 senior students who study cross campus classes at the College as it meant that they no longer have to pay a fee to use the bus.

The bus runs on a regular timetable between campuses six times each week. Details of this timetable are provided to all students accessing subjects across campus. A copy can be obtained from the College Administration Centre at Freshwater Education Centre or downloaded from this web site.

In addition the bus is available for teachers on any campus to transport students to excursions, sporting venues and activities. Bookings must be made for times that do not interfere with the transport of students to lessons. Campus staff may book the bus by contacting the NBSC Administration Centre on 9939 6942.
